Most websites for cloud communications providers are acronym focused or product pushing. That isn’t what buyers are looking for. (It isn’t what AI is looking for either!)
We are past the point where the softswitches all offer the same features. Maybe functionality is a little different but the checklist is the same at this point. What’s different? Implementation.
What do Buyers want? Outcomes. And your website has to address that. Weave has always been ahead of that curve. Never mentioning UCaaS or CCaaS or any part of the stack. It has always been about the impact of using their system.
Lightspeed has an obnoxious website but it does address what the buyer gets, not what the product is.
8×8 now has Product Announcements on the home page! That will not help.
Nextiva has a bunch of claims on their front page. “The next era for business is built with AI employees.” is a generic statement that could be used (and probably is!) by any provider today. “Less Buys Work. More Impact.” without ever saying what that impact is for the buyer.
The only people who say UCaaS are in the industry. Only contact center managers understand the acronyms.
With more buyers looking for CX and all the AI hype, telling a story of what benefits the buyer will receive will help you get leads!
And just saying CX isn’t going to help either. Most businesses have never procured a contact center solution, so selling CCaaS or CX or some hybrid will need to talk about the functions, the results, the why. I don’t see too many websites addressing this.
